Reminders
1. Please make sure you always put your full name and college number on any correspondence you send to us.
2. Your tutor is there to help you. Remember that you can also contact your tutor by telephone, email or webmail.
3. Please use webmail, rather than email, to ask your tutor for help regarding any part of your course material. The webmail facility, which is available to all Train 4 Trade Skills students, is available within your Student Website . When sending a webmail asking for additional help with a certain area of your course material it is very important that you include the full details of the part of the course you are referring to, as well as the page number and, if applicable, the specific part on the page.
4. We cannot accept responsibility for incorrect usage of the webmail system, therefore please ensure that you only use webmail for valid queries relating to additional help that you need with a certain area of your course material, and not for queries such as payments, tuition period, etc.
5. Please try to study on a regular basis, remember to draw up a Study Timetable.
6. You should use the Student Website to submit your Tutor Marked Assignments. You need to go to the Classroom area, the link to submit a TMA is named Submit a TMA.
7. If you use the Student Website to submit your Tutor Marked Assignment we will receive it, there is no need to phone us to check. Your result, together with your Progress Report, can be viewed on your Student Website by going to the Classroom area and choosing the link View My Progress.
8. All updates to your course material are notified via your Student Website.
9. Please remember to visit the WEBMAIL area every time you go to your Student Website. From time to time your tutor team will send you college information via WEBMAIL, it's important that you read this.
10. It is very important that you draw up a study timetable, this will help you plan your study periods more carefully.
